"Phenomenal cosmic power and she asks me to do the job of a lighter," I
said with an overly dramatic sigh. So maybe my power was slightly less on
the "cosmic" scale and more just on the "a danger to himself as much as
anyone else" side of things. But, slightly a well built campfire was
something I could definitely do. I was reasonably certain that I could do
it without blowing us up either.
For a brief moment I thought about lighting the fire with a big, dramatic
gout of flame springing up from the middle of it before scratching that
idea. The fire was only magic in how it was called, after that it was
basically just normal fire and did normal fire things like burn stuff. I
could save the dramatics for later.
"Flickum Bicus," I said, adding a little bit of dramatics to the
spell. A small flame caught in the middle of the wood and before long a
nice little fire was burning. "And my one day streak of not blowing things
up continues. How goes things over there?"
